She was predeceased by: her parent Arnold R.; and her sister Robin Rae Garris. She is survived by: her parent Donna M. Garris (Stout); her sisters, Amy Burns (Dexter) of Stroudsburg and Cynthia Montes (Jose); and her siblings' children, Joey, Nicole, Devin, Julius, Megan, Ava, Madeline, Colin and Heidi.
It was Laura's wish that in lieu of flowers, memorial remembrances be made to Zion United Church of Christ.
