She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Daniel Higgins; her parents, Thomas J. Foley II and Mary Foley (McCann); her children, Robert Timothy, Mary Ellen Higgins of Shawnee and Erin Kathleen Higgins; her son-in-law Douglas Rosner of Arlington, Massachusetts; her son Cyril Daniel Higgins Jr.; her daughters-in-law, Jennifer of Stroud Township and Michelle of Chester Springs; and her siblings, Thomas J. Foley Jr. of Dunmore, Peter Foley of Bloomfield Hills, John Foley of Throop, Catherine Foley and Brian Foley Sr.. She was also cherished by siblings-in-law, nieces and nephews, and great nieces and great nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations in honor of Marianne Higgins be noted as such and sent to Pocono Area Transitional Housing (PATH), 7 N. Ninth St., Stroudsburg, PA 18360, which offers transitional housing and support to local homeless families.
