It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marion Schollhammer of Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania, who passed away on November 1, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the quiet moments of reflection, amidst the gentle rustle of leaves and the whispered song of the stars, we shall carry Marion's memory with us, a guiding light illuminating the path ahead. May Marion's journey be filled with peace and serenity, and may she find rest in the embrace of eternity.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Schollhammer and Anna Schollhammer (Blair); her husband Louis J Pilas; and her siblings, Florence Hughes, Helen Rehm, Dorothy Douglas and John Schollhammer.
She is survived by: her close friend George Hopkins; her siblings, Annmarie Berger-Vittorio (Louis) of Bethlehem, Rose Schoch of Snydersville and Henry Schollhammer of Bangor; and her pet Danny Boy. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Viewing will be held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Luke's Catholic Church (818 Main St, Stroudsburg, PA 18360). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
