It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Richard A. Waibel (Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania), who passed away at the age of 79, on May 31, 2025. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Waibel and Mildred Waibel (Jacobs); and his brother David Waibel. He is survived by: his children, Jeffrey S. Waibel of Stroud Township, Gretchen Uitdenhowen (Jamie) of Sparta, NJ and Karen Bixler (Dan) of Lansdale, PA.; his grandchildren, Elise, Maeve Uitdenhowen, Quint, Reed and Lydia Bixler; his former wife Margaret Waibel of Pocono Summit; and his nephew Jason Waibel.

He was an active participant in the local Republican Committee and volunteered his time with organizations including the American Cancer Society, Relay for Life, United Way, and the former RSVP volunteer network.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial donations be made to the American Cancer Society, an organization close to Richard's heart.
