He was predeceased by: his sons, William D. Clarke and Thomas E. Clarke. He is survived by: his spouse Ellen M. Clarke (Cotter); his parents, William F. and Helen V. Clarke (Dineen); his children, Robert Clarke (Lisa) of Cave Creek, AZ., Mary Wertheimer (Jeff) of Wind Gap, Kathleen Dwyer (Michael) and Stroudsburg; his grandchildren, Rachel, Joshua, Sarah, Nicole, Jonathan, Jennifer, Brian, Megan and Michael; and his great grandchildren, Xavier, Zoey, Evan, Aiden, Steven, Riley, Thomas, Catherine, Mikaila and Michael.
