Evelyn M. Parrett Obituary
We are sad to announce that on July 14, 2025, at the age of 93, Evelyn M. Parrett of Sigel, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Evelyn may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Evelyn touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Rhines and Frances Simmerline Rhines; her spouse Cecil Parrett; her children, R. James Parrett and Margelyn Parrett; and her siblings, Robert, Stanley, Cloy and Mary Kirkwood.
She is survived by: her sons, Jeffrey Parrett (Bonnie) and Randall Parrett (Jane); and her daughter-in-law Debra Parrett. She is also survived by her 7 grandchildren; several great and great great grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Furlong Funeral Home (140 Cherry St, Marienville, PA 16239). A funeral service was held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
