He was predeceased by: his parents, Casimir Filip and Sophie Filip (Gniadecka); and his siblings, John Phillip, Adolph Phillip, Leocadia, Tillie Simek, Stella Mantz, Florence Bartel, Anna Schollenberger and Stephanie Stawiarski.
He is survived by: his wife Florence Filip (Solick); his daughter Marge Homcha (Stephen); his grandchildren, Christine (Kyle), Brittany (Trevin) and Brent (Sarah); and his great grandchild Adelyn.
