He was predeceased by: his parent Michael Cooney; and his sister Patricia Rumberger. He is survived by: his parent Viola Cooney (Perotti); his spouse Rachel Bridge; his children, Michael Cooney (Andrea) of Spring City, John Cooney (Sharon) of Pottstown, Scott Cooney (Geraldine) of Lansdale, Leslie Bowers (Jim Lewis) of Bloomsburg and Kelly Neidig (Richard) of Mount Carmel; and his sister Diane Barabas of Yardville. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren.
