She was predeceased by: her parents, Harless Fleming and Blanche Fleming (Neidig); her husband James E. Bird; her son Timothy Bird; her sister Laura; her brother-in-law Chet Gaugler; her brother Harless "Rink" Jr.; and her sister-in-law June Fleming.
She is survived by: her children, Thomas Bird of Northumberland, Patricia (Finn Peterson), Joan (Mike Vella), Judith (Bart Gulden) and Kathleen Bird (Kevin Whitmer) of Sunbury; and her sister Margaret "Peggy" Fleming. She is also survived by her 11 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren.
