He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward H. Raffensberger and Alice E. Holmes Raffensberger; and his siblings, Robert, Dennis Raffensberger, Ruth Waizenegger and Mary Blecker.

He is survived by: his wife Gertrude Pohner Raffensberger; his sons, Scott E. Raffensberger (Charlene) of North Carolina, Larry M. Raffensberger of Bainbridge and Daniel P. Raffensberger; his sister Margaret Ruff of Susquehanna Twp; his grandchildren, Curtis, Kari and Jake Raffensberger; and his great grandchild Kaylee Raffensberger. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
