He was predeceased by : his wife Karen "Becky" Sherman; and his parents, Jane Mae Phelps and Harold Sherman. He is survived by : his children, Mark Sherman, Kelly Whitney (Charles) and Leeann Sherman-Morder (Ken); his grandchildren, Jill Majeski, Brad Sherman (Alfa), Nicole Sherman, Riley Compton, Dylan Whitney and Abigail MacWilliams; his sisters, Marjorie Treible and Betty Phillips; and his nephews, Paul Walker and James Sherman Jr.. He is also survived by his friends, brother, and nephews.
