He was predeceased by : his sister Mildred Shaffer. He is survived by : his wife Catherine Ford; his children, Ronald J. Ford and Laurie Taraborrelli; his grandchildren, Nicholas J., Erik A. Taraborrelli, Victoria and Jessica C. Ford; and his great grandchildren, Violet and Nolan Taraborrelli.
