He was predeceased by: his brothers, Ralph P. Jr., Donald P. and Gary G. Stock. He is survived by: his girlfriend Noreen M. Kennelly; his son Jason A. Metzger (Greensburg); his sibling-in-law Lynn Stock (North Huntingdon); his sibling's child Donnie Stock, II (Plum Boro); and his brother Alan J. Stock (Forest Hills).

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests Jim would be honored for donations to VFW (PA), DAV, PVA.
