It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Allen Verwey of Tannersville, Pennsylvania, born in Rochester, New York, who passed away on March 27, 2022, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence R. Verwey and Ellen Verwey (Cooney); and his siblings, Marjorie and Thomas. He is survived by: his wife Pauline M. Verwey (Arnold); his children, Michael Verwey (Patty Shiffler) of Lancaster, Kathleen Kise (Roddy) of Tannersville, Christopher Verwey (Linda) of Tannersville, Karen Clarke (Peter) of Washington State and Steven Verwey of Tannersville; his grandchild Many; and his brother John Verwey (Suzanne) of Cerritos, California.. He is also survived by Many great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren.
