She was predeceased by : her parents, Thomas Kovaleski and Dorothy Kovaleski (Batzel); her grandchildren, Kaitlin and Patrick Foytack; and her brother Thomas Kovaleski, Jr..

She is survived by : her husband Ralph Foytack; her sons, Jason Foytack (Annie) of State College and Geoff Foytack (Megan) of West Chester; her sisters, Susan Danna (Jack) and Nancy Thomas; her grandchildren, Caleb, Liam, Brady and Emma Foytack; her nephews, Joshua Danna, Derrek Foytack and Christopher Wasko; and her siblings-in-law, Nancy Wasko (Glenn McArdle) and Brian Foytack (Lori).

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to North Pocono Trails Association, Joan Foytack Memorial Fund, 123 Van Brunt St., Moscow PA 18444.
