With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James D. Lightner Sr. of Timblin, Pennsylvania, born in DuBois, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 18, 2021 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Myron V. Lightner and Margaret E. Klingensmith (Swartz); his grandmother Kitty; his cousin Cathryn Vander Sande; his uncle Vern; his children, James D. Lightner, Jr. (Melissa Ritchie) of Trafford, Amy S. Lightner (Adam Nulph) of Lower Burrell and Lori A. Mainhart (Roger) of Freeport; his grandchildren, Benjamin, Mathew, Luke, Samuel, Autumn, Nicolas and Amelia; his great grandchildren, Aspyn and Cayden; his siblings, Ellsworth Lightner (Nancy) of Belknap, Richard Lightner (Dorothy) of Wayne Township, Joy Mitchell (Vicki Lee Deluca) of Boggs Township and Joan Woodward; and his wife Tawny Sue Lightner.
