He was predeceased by: his parent Elten Blum; his daughter Karen S. Powers; and his sisters, Lucille Weaver, Mary Hall and Virginia Whitton.
He is survived by: his parent Rachel Galmish Blum; his wife Lois of Tionesta; his son Jeffrey P. Blum (Cindy) of Tionesta; his grandchildren, Nicole Witherell (Nathaniel) of Tionesta, Erica Blum of Tionesta and Andrew Blum of Tionesta; his great grandchild Harper Witherell; and his son-in-law William Powers (Pat) of Parker. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
The family asks that memorials be made to Mt. Zion Evangelical Lutheran Cemetery or to the charity of one's choice.
