He was predeceased by: his parents, Hays L. "Bud" Renninger and Karen Y. Rodgers; and his siblings, Sally Nichols and John Renninger. He is survived by: his wife Melisa L. Thornton of Titusville; his children, RJ Ruot of Titusville, Michael Nelson of Titusville and Danielle Nelson (Darrin Cardone) of Titusville; and his sister Kathy Fielding (Pat) of Titusville. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.
