Boatman Jr. (Towanda, Pennsylvania), born in Eagles Mere, Pennsylvania, who passed away on February 18, 2020, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Bruce C. Boatman, Sr. and Elsie Smith Boatman (Dorothy); his granddaughter Cassandra Boatman; his daughter-in-law Kristina Boatman; and his brother-in-law Frank Dibble.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy M. O'Connor of Herrickville; his sons, Bruce, III (Julia), Forrest (Gloria), Dyson (Marie), Matthew, Brady and Jason (Tonya); his grandchildren, Nathan (Amanda), Joshua (Tammara), Joseph, Amanda, Samantha, Randy, Zachary (Jade) and Gregory; his great grandchildren, Raina, Ezra, Kendra and Meghan; and his sister Janet Dibble of Waverly, NY. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that contributions be directed to the Orwell Bible Church, or charity of one's choice in Bruce's memory.
