She was predeceased by: her husband Raymond L. Shaffer of Towanda, PA; her parents, Richard V. MacMorran and Florence W. Hicks MacMorran of Saco; her great grandchildren, Michael Paul Shaffer and Chelsey Ann Proehl; and her brothers, Richard Elwin MacMorran and Kenneth Lyle MacMorran.
She is survived by: her children, Irene Ann Phinney (Sayre) of Puerto Rico, Ronald R. Shaffer (Terrytown) of Alabama, Elaine M. Lovegreen (Michael) of Waverly, Stephen R. Shaffer of Durell and Nathan L. Shaffer of Towanda; her siblings, Shirley B. Barnes (Donald) of North Tonawanda, NY and Gerald W. MacMorran (Dottie) of Dandridge, TN; and her siblings-in-law, Martin Shaffer of Powell, Christine Shaffer of Liberty Corners and Jackie MacMorran. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Due to the pandemic, a small private graveside service will be held for the immediate family, with a larger memorial service to be planned in the future.
