He was predeceased by: his parents, Jeffery William Arthur and Ruth Alleen Post (Shores); his siblings, Helen Mae Phillips (Post) and Carl Ernest Post; his sister-in-law Rena Post; and his grandson Eric Jon Towner.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Lillian Wilbur; his grandchildren, Amanda (Jonathan Stradling) of Tokyo, Japan, Justin (Loribeth Barden) of Fairfax, VA, Jeff (Megan Towner) of Towanda, PA, Katherine Barden, Grant Lockhard of Washington, D. C., Andrew Melchior of Mahwah, NJ and Lauren Melchior of Chicago, IL; his great grandchildren, Olivia, Liam, Wyatt Barden, Sawyer, Lyla Stradling, Rylan Cook, Eric and Avery Towner; and also Ellen (Jim Gunn). He is also survived by several cousins, nephews, nieces.
Floyd built many houses from foundation to finishing touches, along with remodeling and the like.
