She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Kuykendall and Grace Carner Kuykendall Schultz; her son Bradley Alan Root; her granddaughter Andrea Root; and her siblings, Eudora Waltman and Raymond Kuykendall.
She is survived by: her husband Robert L. Root; her children, Robert Scott Root (Erika) of Sun City, AZ, Sheryl Long (Steve) of Millersburg, PA and Karen Wilcox (Gary) of Towanda; her granddaughters, Deanna Root of Austin, TX and Heather Hitz (Patrick) of Lebanon, PA.; her great grandchildren, Adriel Munoz, Carter Wright, Avery Rosetti, Alexis Hitz, Logan Hitz and Bryton Potter; her brother Richard Kuykendall of Monroeton; and her close friend Pat Hoover of Towanda.
