He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon Conrad Teeter and Carrie Guldenschuh Teeter; his wife Phyllis Lee Seale; his sons, Lester Vernon Teeter and Richard Eugene Teeter Jr.; his sisters, Clara (Ernest Lamphere Jr.), Hila (Kenneth Macey) and Laura "Grace" (Louis J. Dinelli Sr.); and his sisters-in-law, Joy Teeter and Bertha L. Bouren.
He is survived by: his children, Richaleen Renee Zeidler (Bruce) of North Towanda, Cheryl Robin Latimer of Liberty Corners, Jenice Laree Barrett (Joseph) of Marshview, Ebony Diasha Teeter of California and DawnMarie Chevon Hill (Corey) of Marshview; his daughter-in-law Eileen Teeter of Arizona; his brother Fred Teeter of Florida; his siblings-in-law, Denice R. and John Poole of Penales Park, FL; and his close friends, Robin, Terri Campbell, Wayne Morrow, Ellen Finnerty, LaVerne Kisner, Guy Auge, Earl Mayo, Greg Weed, Bob Hansen, Richard and Jackie Holland. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren.
The family suggests that contributions may be directed to the Alzheimer's Association, 57 North Franklin Street, Wilkes-Barre, PA 18701 in memory of Richard Eugene Teeter.
