It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Velma Babyak of Trafford, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 31, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Velma Babyak to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, August Bonde and Ethel Bonde (Rozza); and her sister Alberta Jakiela. She is survived by: her sons, Jeffrey E. Babyak (Robin) of Turtle Creek and David S. Babyak (Merleann) of Texas; her grandchildren, Chelsea Pons (Justin), Tyler Toumbacaris, Zoey Babyak, Marina Poliak and Sedona Galket; her great grandchild Gemma Pons; her daughter-in-law Tawnya Poliak (Bill); and her sisters, Florence Ramsey and Gertrude Popovich.

“Bob and I will miss Sister Babyak a.k.a. Vee, very much. I met Vee when she was part of the White Oak Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. I'll never forget her hospitality throughout her life and her yummy ice cream cakes from scratch. Vee was both a sister and a second mother to me. We had so much in common with our line of work, our humor, but mostly our faith. She was the first to congratulate me on parts I gave at our Theocratic School. We are deeply sorry for your loss.
