He is survived by : his children, Mary Harvey of Tunkhannock, James Gavek (Lydia) of Wyalusing, Kenneth Gavek (Tammy) of Laceyville and Grace Scranta (Stephen) of Tunkhannock; his sister Katherine Charney of Luzerne; and his grandchildren, Rachel Miller, James Gavek, Jr., Chrissy Cole, Derek Stanton, Staci Short, Brad Pardoe, Ken Gavek, Jr., Stacey Jayne, Richard Gavek, Corey Gavek, Briant Gavek, Katie Gavek and Heather Rosengrant. He is also survived by 15 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
