He was predeceased by: his parents, Godfrey Raup and Helen Phillips (O'Conner); his granddaughter Megan C. Raup; his stepfather Clifford Phillips; and his siblings, Paul, Ben, Dean Raup, Carol Buck and Bonnie Sones.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy J. Beachel; his children, Jay Raup Jr. (Julie), Debora Herb (Steve), Darlene Markiewicz (Stephen) and Tammy Green (Eric); his grandchildren, Zachary, Katie, Amanda, Robin, Lane and Simone; and his siblings, Ronald Raup, Jean Hurst and Mary Reimensnyder. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
