She was predeceased by: her husband Wayne Matheys; her parents, Russell E. Friez and Margaret J. Friez (Brush); and her brothers, Harold, Russell, Charles and Richard Friez.
She is survived by: her children, Patricia L. Sanchez (Gill) and Christy A. Newman (Jack); her grandchildren, Bradley Lloyd (Pamela), Leslie Thomas (Brian), Mitchell and Jordan Newman; her great grandchildren, Reagan, Weston, Lilyan, Bennett and Abram; and her siblings, Paul Friez (Carol), Fred Friez (Norma), David Friez (Marsha) and Cheryl Bridge (Timothy). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
