He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Michael Joseph and Sophie Vingless; his daughters, Mary F. Pellegrini of Altoona and Natasha B. Hampton (Bobby) of Carrolltown; his grandchildren, Macy and Maura Pellegrini; and his siblings, Marie Lansberry of Osceola Mills, Sophie Sprankle of Morann, Mike Tomko of Houtzdale, Joseph, John Vingless and Helen Johnson.
