It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dolores Polito of Uniontown, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 13, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Sr. Ritz and Rose Ritz; and her siblings, John Ritz, William Ritz, Dominick Ritz and Rose Yowler.
She is survived by: her husband William Polito; her children, Pete McDowell of Uniontown and Debra J. King (Fred) of Uniontown; her grandchildren, William K. Connors (Tatum) and Crystal J. Connors; her great grandchildren, Delaney Russell, Brantley Connors and Brieley Connors; and her nephew Michael Ritz (Lisa).
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Hopwood Funeral Home (1189 National Pike, Hopwood, PA 15445). A prayer will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Saint Therese de Lisieux R. C. Church (61 N Mt Vernon Ave, Uniontown, PA 15401). A burial will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at the Sylvan Heights Cemetery (603 N Gallatin Ave Ext, Uniontown, PA 15401).
