He was predeceased by: his parents, John Koziel Sr. and Mary Koziel (Sherosky); his children, Rose Ann Hough, John M. Koziel and Ron Koziel; his son-in-law Sonny Hough; and his siblings, Edward, Stanley, Joseph Koziel, Louise Dubovich, Caroline Bernot and Genieve Kovach.
He is survived by: his wife Rose Marie Koziel (Moser); and his children, Joyce Walters (Buck) of Hopwood, Tom Koziel of Uniontown, Bob Koziel (Leslie) of New Eagle, Patty Perkins (Jeff) of Uniontown and Lori Mariotti (Brian) of Connellsville. He is also survived by 23 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family ask that donations to be made to St. Mary's Church.
