Marion H. Shearer Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marion H. Shearer (Uniontown, Pennsylvania), who passed away on October 27, 2025, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruth Louise and John Marion Shearer; his brothers, Paul and Robert; and his cousin Sam.
He is survived by: his wife Penny (Molenock); his sister Charlotte Shearer of Uniontown; his children, Kathie Davidson of Texas, Janet Flint (Tim) of Maryland and Peter Shearer (Stephanie) of Ohio; his stepchildren, Heather Averbook (Jason) of Minnesota and Dan Donaldson of Ohio; his grandchildren, Amber Capello (John), Hannah Pirpiris (Alex), Kristen Small, Evan Small (Hollie), John Small, Stephen Small, Joshua Shearer, Dustin Shearer (Sarah), Clarissa Shearer, Ben Averbook, Alex Averbook and Ella Donaldson; and his great grandchildren, Sofina Capello, Lucca Capello, Kamilla Capello, Maya Shearer, Archer and Magnolia Shearer. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 30th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Andrew D. Ferguson Funeral Home & Crematories, Inc. (80 Morgantown St, Uniontown, PA 15401). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, October 30th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
