It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Pauline Francis Childs (Uniontown, Pennsylvania), who passed away on May 5, 2025, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Hutchinson and Elvira Hutchinson; her husband Jesse "Abe" Childs; her brothers, George, Albert and Robert Hutchinson; and her daughter-in-law Carol Childs.
She is survived by: her children, Bonnie Jo Childs, Jesse Childs (Lisa), Arthur Childs (Eva), Candy Koffler (Paul) and John Childs (Lisa); her grandchildren, Bethany Davis (Gage), Brittany Marling (Sean), Kenneth Morris, Laci Morris, Zephan Morris, Arthur Childs Jr. (Anthony), Omie Broadwater (Daphne), Kaden Childs, Paul Koffler III (Bethann), John Childs Jr., Dylan Childs and Emma Childs; her great grandchildren, Nathan Marling, Gabriel Marling, Maddison Marling, Arabella Marling, Ariana Marling, Bella Porterfield, Abi Coleman, Hannah Childs, Lucille Broadwater, Cheyenne Koffler, Mya Koffler and Paul Koffler IV; her brother Donnie Hutchinson; her cousin Norma Hlatky; and her close friend Peggy Snyder.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 9th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, May 10th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the DeGusipe Funeral Home & Crematory Uniontown & Pittsburgh Chapel (65 N Gallatin Ave, Uniontown, PA 15401). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, May 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Mt. Moriah Baptist Cemetery.
