She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Lovel and Lena Shaffer Summers; her siblings, Thelma Barton, Floyd, Delbert, Donald and Wayne Summers; and her siblings-in-law, John Dietz, William Barton, Sylvia Summers and Mary Louise Summers.
She is survived by: her daughter Patricia Thomas of Hookerton, NC; her grandsons, Braden Summers, Alexander Summers and Johnny Summers; her siblings, Gerald Summers, Larry Summers (Karen), Betty Dietz and Jean Huck (Ed); and her sister-in-law Janet Summers. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
