He was predeceased by : his parents, George J. Sr. Zizmont and Anna Julius Zizmont; and his son Michael J. Zizmont. He is survived by : his wife Josephine Cisco Zizmont; his son George J. Zizmont, III; his grandchildren, Jessica, Rachael and Zachary; and his sister Mary Pearce.
