He was predeceased by: his parents, George Thomas Jr. and Ratie Long Upton. He is survived by: his wife Joan Boyd Upton; his children, Stacey Bunce (Chris) of Garnet Valley and Tom Upton (Peggy) of West Chester; and his grandchildren, Spencer Upton, Hannah Bunce and Abby Bunce.
