He was predeceased by: his former wife Carol. He is survived by: his children, Tory and Hal IV; his daughter-in-law Jessica; his wife Janet; his parents, Harold Jr. and Pat; and his brothers, Steve (Kelly) and Jeff.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that memorial donations be made to the Officer McNamara Fund.
