He was predeceased by: his parents, James A. Murphy and Kathryn Murphy; and his sister Dolores Kane (late Jack). He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth G. "Betsy" Murphy; his sons, James Murphy (Juanita), Patrick Murphy (Judy) and William Murphy; and his sister Kay Gross (late Tony). He is also survived by his seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
