He was predeceased by: his wife Julie Nichols; and his siblings, Barry Nichols and Barbara Lynch. He is survived by: his children, Jeanette Nickerson (Mike), William Nichols Jr (Karen) and Emily Rothera; his grandchildren, Marshal Skye and Autumn Skye; and his sister Sandra Nagel (John).
