With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James Brown (Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 4, 2025 at the age of 75. He was predeceased by: his parents, Anthony Brown and Mary Brown (Barna); his siblings, John Brown, Cyril Lesko, Andrew Lesko, Ralph Lesko and Charlotte Linker; and his godson Max Mukerjee.
He is survived by: his wife Lucy L. Brown (Fritz); his children, James Kitzmiller of Wapwallopen and Kimberly Adamczyk (Kitzmiller); his grandson Shane Kitzmiller (Jennifer); his children, David Adamczyk Jr., Samantha Adamczyk and Josh Hallowich; his great grandchild Myla Mae Kitzmiller; his great-nephew Dr. Ronald Sepkoski; and his sister Bernice Yencha (Edward) of Wilkes-Barre. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, former co-workers and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:15 AM at the John V. Morris Family Funeral Home Inc. (625 N Main St, Wilkes-Barre, PA 18705). The military honors will be held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 at 11:15 AM at the same location. A prayer will be held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Saint Mary Byzantine Catholic Church (695 N Main St, Wilkes-Barre, PA 18705).
