She was predeceased by: her parents, Michael Kurtz and Elizabeth Kurtz; her husband Joseph L. Rufino; and her brother Joseph Kurtz. She is survived by: her sons, Joseph P. and James G. Rufino; her siblings, Elizabeth Kurtz, Michael Kurtz and Anne Zlatkus; and her siblings' children, Francis, Richard, David, Gary, Joseph, Peter and Judē Ann.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the above church in Florence's memory.
