He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Marek Redner and Bronislawa Redner; his sister Emilia Redner Polakiewicz; his wife Lily Lustig Redner; his daughters, Isabel Alcoff, Sylvia [Stuart] Greenstein, Barbara [Jeffrey] Hoffman and Francine [Tim] Wilson; and his grandchildren, Celia Brown, Benjamin Alcoff, Brian Liedman, Samual Greenstein, Leah Grumet, Joshua Hoffman, Rachel Hoffman, Talia Greenstein and Isaac Wilson. He was also cherished by eleven great-grandchildren.

The family suggests donations in Salomon Redner's memory to The U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum.
