It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jeannette P. (Vernon) Liberatore of Washington Township, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 15, 2025, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, David W. Vernon and Ethel Vernon (Bollinger); her former husband Charles Liberatore, Sr.; her daughters, Karen M. Hanan and Lisa Mae Minnich; her son-in-law James Lee Stewart; and her siblings, George, David Vernon and Viola Mink.
She is survived by: her son Charles Liberatore, Jr. (Kathy) of Butler; and her sister Deborah A. Stewart of Oil City. She is also survived by three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Curran-Shaffer Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. - Apollo (100 Owens View Ave, Apollo, PA 15613). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
