He is survived by: his wife Davidine Kern Prout; his sons, James Prout of Florida, Charles Prout of Monessen and David Prout of Burgettstown; his stepchildren, Jennifer Cool of Hanover and Timothy Sirk of York; and his siblings, Lionel Prout (Nancy) of Texas, Ronald Prout (Peggy) of York, Ruth Long of Industry, Irene Harvey of Littlestown, Donna Pritt of Littlestown, Dora Edwards of York, Wilson Ferguson, Jean Trent and Eileen Sentz. He is also survived by several grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
