She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold W. Summers and Blondena Tennant Summers; and her husband Robert F. Knox. She is survived by: her children, Kenneth R. Knox of Washington, Kevin L. Knox (Amanda) of Washington, Karen Borda (John) of Houston, Dwayne and Kerry Knox; and her brother Robert Summers. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, thirty one great-grandchildren, a great-great grandchild and many nieces and nephews.
