She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Were and Rosa Perry Were; her husband Dominic Romano; and her sister Mary Were. She is survived by: her children, Mark Romano (Jeannine) of Lexington, SC, Judith Stewart (Gary) of Washington and Dawn Luketich (Ronald) of Scenery Hill; her sister Esther Bellamo of East Point, MI; her grandchildren, Jason Madosky, Jennifer Brogdan, Jenese Madosky, Francesca Zottola, Micah Romano, Mark Romano, Amanda Jackson and Matthew Luketich; her sisters-in-law, Joann Kolycheck and Beverly Romano; and her siblings, Dick Were, John Were, Mary Romano and Teresa Were. She is also survived by sixteen great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren.
