She was predeceased by : her parents, John Harl Conkey and Pearle Breese Conkey; her former husband Melvin Mitchell; her husband Glenn Wayne Knight; and her siblings, Catherine Conkey, Clara Iams and Laverne Conkey.

She is survived by : her step-children, Jay Knight of Masontown, PA and Debbie Lee Tustin of Hundred; her daughters, Diane Edwards of Washington, PA and Debra Chain of Ridgefield, CT; and her sisters, Sue Clutter of Sycamore, PA, Naomi Lapping of Waynesburg, PA and Betty Scherick of New Philadelphia, PA..
