We are sad to announce that on May 2, 2021, at the age of 97, Helen I Volk of Washington, Pennsylvania, born in Indiana, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James "Jimmy" and Marie George (Watkins); her husband William A. "Bill" Volk; her daughter Linda Lee Ankeny; and her sister Betty George Lewis.
She is survived by: her children, James H. Volk (Mayra) of Tampa, FL, Joni L. Ulrich (Paul) of Monroeville, PA and Jami L. McCarty of Raleigh, NC; her grandchildren, Brandy Neal (Dan), Jessica Monroe, Christy Wenger (Geoffrey), Deborah Hoffner (Steve), Michael Ankeny (Bev), Andrew Ulrich, Kyle and Erin McCarty; and her great grandchildren, Patrick McIntyer, Andrew Hoffner, Ashley Ankeny, Logan McCarty, Sophie, Ruby Wenger, Kendal and Kaila Courtney.
