It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Sopata of Washington, Pennsylvania, born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 7, 2021, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph and Cynthia Sopata (Venturini); and his son David Sopata. He is survived by: his children, Ashley Sopata, Debra Sopata (Jerry Eibesberger), Mike Sopata, Dan Sopata and Jeff Sopata; his granddaughter Autumn; and his brother Ronald Sopata. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
