She was predeceased by: her parents, Harlan G. Shober and Almaretta Strimel Shober; her husband Larry Walter Zink; her sister Janis Marie Shober; and her daughters, Brenda Loy Kraus and Shelly Ann Zink.

She is survived by: her children, Donald Nicholas Muncie of Washington, William Kevin Muncie (Tracy) of Washington, Sonja Lynn Kowcheck (James) of Washington and Cynthia Marie Durham (Michael Barbour) of Washington; and her siblings, Harlan G. Shober (Jackie) of Houston and Myrna D. Calabro of Houston. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
