He was predeceased by: his parents, Stephan Petronka and Mary Kopcha Petronka; and his brothers, Frank, Pete Petronka, Michael and Alex Petronka.
He is survived by: his wife Geraldine "Geri" Petronka; his children, Chris Petronka (Wendy) of Washington, Dr. Kathleen Hutton-Klein (Jeff Klein), Dr. Amy Hutton McIlwaine (John McIlwaine) and Sandra Winter (George) of Presto, PA; his siblings, Nick Petronka of Washington, Eva Chupinsky (John) of Washington and Olga Povich of Houston, PA; and his grandchildren, Elan, Luke, Dora, Paytra, Isabela, Evan, Bram, Sean and Conor.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. John the Baptist Orthodox Church.
